Effective Horsemanship Demo Days is a FREE clinic offered by a group of individuals and we encourage EVERYONE to save the dates and attend these very informative clinics. Have issues or questions about horse behavior,training questions,riding questions? All questions are important to us!! Sign up for the afternoon one on one lesson and if you bring a friend your private session will be discounted by $10. The Greene County Humane Society is sponsoring this event. A minimum donation of $5.00 is suggested. All proceeds will go to the Greene county Humane Society. Bring a chair! Bring a lunch or you can purchase lunch including a drink for $5.00. Free coffee and bottled water.

Highlights of the November 5th Demo will be: • Understanding the importance of attentiveness/focus from our horses • How to affectively and calmly gain this attention on the ground -- either loose in the pasture or in the round pen • Observing the importance of groundwork in helping our horses listen to our requests – and how this translates to our riding • Discussion and demonstration of how attentiveness dramatically increases our ability to train a horse and how this leads to a safe horse to handle and ride
The next demos will focus on developing relaxation and responsiveness and how this positively affects our riding. Please bring a sense of fun, questions and chair.
